Police Community Centers to be constructed around the UAE, intended to encourage UAE residence for a better and more interactive relationship with the local police forces.

The objective of such facilities is to build common grounds and strong ties between local communities and police forces for a better and humanly relations. The centers are envisioned to welcome youths and provide entertainment as well as sports facilities besides building trust and loyalty to the country. The simple modern design approach was adopted as well as the use of local materials, as modular constructions as an advantage for the repetitions of such facilities, and simple one-level human scale of buildings. The visionary mission of HH Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan is to nurture such relations and adopt means of continued communication between police and residence in a relaxed environment, where the youth become part of the decision-making process. Depicting on the objective of these centers, the design responded in a creative manner adopting open plans and less walls, and therefore, less boundaries between these centers and their surroundings. The concept of the design approach was to encourage interactive and transparent relations with the outside community, and to provide sports and communal gathering amenities for the youth to use.
