A new villa compound in Ras Al Khaimah is to serve as a retreat and a family get-away weekend, as well as short-term visitors’ relaxing holiday. The 30 villa-compound is to be located at a very unique site area on the top of wonderful plateau of RAK mountains. The project is privately owned, and is intended to attract tourist, regional and local families seeking the special experience of RAK Mountains and its cold temperature and its ambiance. The challenging site on the top of a very hilly and steep land led to careful allocation of villas that were carved into the hill sides and embedded into the topographical features of the land, creating a unique integration with nature. Individual villa designs called for seamless relation with nature by creating outdoor court-like spaces where inhibited areas circled around. Privacy, relaxed atmosphere, magnificent views and layers of spaces were carefully thought of to create modern yet secluded living experience.
