Al Wajh Chalets
The project is located on an island in Al Wajh, on the western coastal edge of Saudi Arabia, along the Red Sea. It is intended to celebrate the beauty of the nature being offered by one of the great gulf countries in the GCC. The island development is designed to be self-sustaining, equipped with complete and efficient infrastructures such as roadways, mechanical and electrical facilities, sewage and waste management systems, etc.
It consists of 24 high-end chalets, 6 of which are allocated for VVIP guests, another 6 for VIPs, and 12 standard chalets. Along with these chalets are the central majlis complete with gym facilities and other recreational amenities located at the heart of the development. The site's unique terrain was utilized to the project's advantage, giving prime vistas for each chalets to the grandeur of the Red Sea and its nature. The chalets are served through internal roads by the service blocks situated on the north-east portion of the development. The development has an overall built-up area of 12,900 sq.m.
Low-speed vehicles or LSV's are provided at the disposal of the guests while the central parking spaces are located at the lower side of the island, adjacent to service blocks, along the main road for ease of access. Two Helipads are located on the south-east portion of the development intended for high-profile guests and as part of high-level accessibility to the island development. A Jetty station is also provided as the main access to and from the island.
