The Giving Bridge
The Giving Bridge, located at the main highway road of Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, was as a design competition for RTA which will serve as one of Dubai’s cultural & progressive modern iconic structures. Perceived as an organic structure derived from the typographic form of the Arabic word “Giving”, the bridge will serve as a pedestrian connection between the two sides of the highway, which will ease pedestrian crossing and will integrate the two sides of the highway. The bridge is envisaged to enhance traffic as well as pedestrian movements in an attempt to improve public safety and the overall highway.
